Design

Where once a few leaflets did the job, now every piece of communication right across the board needs to be innovative. Here at GO Create, we employ award-winning graphic designers who can turn their hand to virtually any kind of design brief, creating striking visuals from the norm to the obscure.

Check out our work, we’ve done loads of design over the years including adverts, branding, brochures, direct mailers, display stands, e-shots, folders, flyers, leaflets, loyalty campaigns, magazines, newsletters, annual reports, packaging, Power Point presentations, point of sale, signage and stationery.

We have experience across numerous market sectors including education, construction, fashion and retail, finance and banking, home interest, hotel, travel and leisure and professional services to name but a few.

Print & Production

The design may be sorted but what about the print and production? At GO Create, our graphic designers work alongside an in-house production management team who have over 40 years experience in the industry. They work hard to source the best printers in Manchester.

All quotes are sourced to a minimum of 3 printers on our approved framework to ensure you receive the best quality at the best possible price. Our system infrustructure also means we meet all public sector procurement guidelines.

Our production team can handle anything from small to multi-million print run projects, handling distribution, proof reading and liasing with the design team to make sure all work runs to schedule and most importantly to budget.

Web

Many graphic design agencies can produce a good looking website however not many think about the big picture. Here at GO Create, we work closely with our sister company, digital agency MadeWith to create a website that not only looks great but works smoothly too due their good strategic understanding of Search Engine Marketing.

Whether you are new to the web and simply need an online presence, a retail outlet needing a dynamic, e-commerce website or a school, college, university, council or business looking for a secure website which is easy to update by a Content Management System, we have it covered.

Our range of digital services also includes banner advertising, desktop backgrounds, screensavers and e-shot design and distribution.

Small companies risk reputation damage! 29.06.2009

58% of companies believe that poor quality of marketing materials has directly affected the success of their marketing campaign.

These are the findings of recent research compiled by software firm Serif. They found that more than half of small companies design their own logo and stationery using free design software or Microsoft publishing programs.

Serif’s survey found that 56% of small companies design some (if not all) of their marketing materials themselves rather than use a professional design agency. Yet despite this 28% confessed they didn’t have the neccesary graphic design skills and over half felt that their current marketing was adversely affecting the business.

Using free design software may be beneficial to many small companies due to the cost saving benefits however if you think you wouldn’t have the skills to build a house yourself, then create the brand of your company on the cheap? In today’s modern markets, customers are much more aware that professional branding and design equals a quality product.

Footy Mad! 19.06.2009

It may be just over 2 months to kick off but the team are already excited about the new footy season. We’re big footy fans, we even have our own footy team which plays once a month against advertising agency AWA. We’ve yet to win but we know a victory is just round the corner.

Next year’s fixtures have been posted up on the wall while we wait for Fantasy Football to get under way. GO is blessed to have pro-dominantly Manchester United supporters with Creative Manager Ric Turner always having the inside info having been to Champions League finals and all sorts. Steve Carr, another of our design team, is unfortunate enough to support Everton (well someone has to). After happy days for the Toffee’s last year, will the pressures of Europe add too much to their successes of last season? A couple of quality signings would give them an added boost.

And United? Glory, glory once again. We will miss Ronaldo but the general consensus is good riddance to bad rubbish. We feel he left a nasty smell in the dressing room and not just his B.O. His tantrums disrupted team morale and the team will be stronger for him gone, with Rooney now not playing second fiddle to him. We only hope that Fergie spends wisely and doesn’t rush into spending silly money on big names. We’re sure he won’t.

Robert Whetham Associates Dead Chuffed With New Look! 11.06.2009

We recently re-branded engineering consultants Robert Whetham Associates and it seems to have done the trick. Speaking to Robert last night at a BusinessEvents launch party he mentioned the response had been fantastic, with a recent new business mail out recieving a response rate of 75% and very busy pipeline of work!!!

The re-brand also picked up coverage in business press on How Do and 53 Degrees. The logo followed a brief for a fresh, modern outlook to a growing company. We wanted the logo to match Robert’s friendly, enthusiastic nature as well as touching on the strong enviromental consultancy work the company will be pushing in the coming months. Robert Whetham Associates work with business in both the public and private sector including police, fire brigade, hospitals and schools.

The Barlow RC High School, Stockport 08.06.2009

We are delighted to add another school to our ever growing portfolio, The Barlow RC High School in Stockport lead by Finance Director Gary Van Oss, have appointed GO to re-fresh the school prospectus, school folders and develop a suite of stationery ready for the appointment of new headteacher Claire McCarron in September.

As well as bringing a fresh, modern look to the prospectus which will be aspirational to students, parents, staff and govenors we have also been able to save the school a considerable amount of money on their print expenditure. This money can then be invested back into the school. The work will also involve photography.

Cowgill Holloway Article in Insider Magazine 05.06.2009

One of our clients has gained further positive press this month. As one of the top 10 accountancy practices in Manchester Cowgill Holloway reported an increase in turnover and profit, and this month saw Senior Partner, Peter Cowgill give a rare interview to Manchester business magazine, Insider.

Peter Cowgill is an incredible businessman, as well as leading arguably one of Manchester’s most successful accountants, he is also Chairman of JD Sports, who aren’t doing too badly themselves. He is responsible for the take over of retail chain Bank. The interview is a really good insight in to the mind of Peter Cowgill and is certainly worth the read.
